Geoff Hohwald's Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia
1929 Gibson TB3 conversion banjo with a Bill Sullivan tone ring and a Frank Neat neck. This is a phenomenal instrument and this has been fully inspected and set up by Geoff Hohwald. This also includes a high end hardshell case.
This is an uncut full label banjo. The banjo is in excellent condition with some typical signs of wear that are common for the age. The flange is in great shape but I want to mention that there is just a very slight amount of lift at the neck. It is not significant but it does need to be noted.
The banjo has a refinished resonator, and the original tailpiece had a hole punched to allow the 5th string on the banjo. Everything else that is not a conversion part is original.
These are getting harder and harder to find and every time I list one of these it sells in record time. If you have any questions at all please ask. Thanks!!!
