Neck:

Featuring custom appointments from head to toe, the straight and true bound maple neck and rosewood fingerboard plays fast and smooth. With little wear to no wear on the frets and fingerboard this is for the collector and player alike. Beautiful double crown inlays on the head stock and upside down J-200 neck inlays set this apart from many of the Gibson models. Great playability.

Body:

Most striking may be the scroll cutaway located just under the pick guard on the treble side upper bout. Bound flame maple top, back and sides are close to blemish free with the exception of a few hairline scratches throughout the back side; possibly from a shirt button or zipper. Shaped like an ES-5, but many appointments are custom to the Tal Farlow's design. Overall the body is in excellent condition.

Electronics/Pickups:

Both pickups and all electronics (2 volume, 2 tone, one 3-way PU selector) are fully tested and 100% functional.

Hardware:

Custom Tal Farlow tailpiece with inlayed rosewood block is in good condition with a slight amount of tarnish in various spots. Grover machine heads are smooth and tune up with ease. Original pick guard shows heavy pick scratching, but is in great shape.

Case:

Original Gibson Custom Art Historic hard case is included in sale.
