Product Description

The Model 101 is the flagship instrument produced by Downes Guitars.  This particular guitar features a bookmatched black korina top, alder body, calibrated Bare Knuckle Nailbomb pickups, a Hipshot headless bridge, and a Downes Guitars headpiece and string lock.  Please see the video below for an introduction to the Model 101.  Handmade in Portland, OR!  Full specs are below, and please let me know if you have any questions!

NOTE: this guitar is being offered at a discount because of some aesthetic issues – a mishap on the router table caused some damage near the heel of the neck that had to be repaired, and there is a small scratch in the finish on the back.  The neck repair is barely visible when the neck is attached and has no impact on playability, sound, or stability.  If you are interested in this guitar and wish to see detailed photos, please message me through Reverb or email at kieran AT downesguitars.com.
