I first started using this gauge (but in GHS) soon after I began playing electric guitar, after playing acoustic for many years. They feel a little more like acoustic strings, which helped the transition. The GHS strings are great, but these are just as good, and I feel there may be some advantage in having the bullet ends, for my Strat trem. I play hard, and these hold up very well.
