This is the genuine Fender '62 Precision Bass 3-ply, 13-hole pickguard for the '62 American Vintage Precision Bass, American Precision Bass, American Standard Precision Bass, and the Standard Precision Bass. Four additional holes in the pickguard accommodate a thumb rest and pickup cover. (Replacement part will not fit 5-String Fender Precision Basses.)

I recently had to change my pickgaurd on my 1974 Fender P Bass.This was exactly what I was looking for.It could not have been easier tto install.The only drawback is,is that you have to remove the origanalfoil tape that shields the Pot's or buy some and cut the foil tape your self.Reusing is easy,just slowly peel off the tape and reapply.The quality is the same as the origanal.Martin Short Scale Acoustic Guitars: A Perfect Fit for Small-Handed Players
