I like this strings, for me they are fine
Fender 7150ML Pure Nickel Long Scale Bass Strings - Medium Light
.God are these great strings, Harmonically rich with great dynamics, clear and rich sound with some subdued highs on D, G string and when I turn the tone down on my P-Bass Wow!it has that great
old school "70's" deep bass with even sounding highs and you can dig in and get that over driven shrill harmonic note for accent, these strings have so much character and the feel is like silk they are the best feeling strings I have ever played including flats, "which gave me friction burns"you really need to try them and if you have a Fender these are the great old school string that every one talks about
The Med. Lights are the best balanced set you will ever play. Not that boomin E that sounds out of place.
Fender 7150ML Pure Nickel Long Scale Bass Strings - Medium Light
.I love the natural fender sound on my P-Bass that I get with the 7150ML I've used every brand and type and these strings just have that right sound, not twangy or metallic (for more twang I recommend D'Addario same gauge, great string) One note: these strings need to be broken in, it's amazing how you can hear them break in the first time you use them and for me it takes a good two weeks of daily playing before they sound real nice and natural, Fender tone, growly. Yeh I left the review in the Med gauge oops.I Like the balance of the ML set better, the D and G string sound more in place
