When I bought this, I was thinking it would switch to different effects on the amp. It only knocks the effect you have dialed in "off or on" on either channel, (instrument or mic). On this one I had, it would knock the effect off on the mic side when pressing the instrument side. Strange. These functions were pretty useless for my needs.
