after trying so many brands and gauges i finally tried these and they were just perfect! incredible tone, incredible feel and play ability and they last as well.. for vintage guitars and true vintage tone, you cant get a better set of strings!!Was this review helpful? Yes / No

I just got an Epiphone Special II. I play acoustic guitars, so this is a newer experience for me. I found these strings great for the sound I was looking for. A lot of guitar players look for different types of sound. I don't rock out like a lot of people do. I'm closer to a country sound. I like these because they have a richer sound, partly because of the gauge ( MEDIUM ) . Lighter strings (for ME) , sound tinny. So I'm in an experimental stage.
