I'm a man of simplicity, and this tuner is just that. Clip on, tune, clip off. No "unnecessary" extras like visual metronome, calibration, etc. Just tune to A=440. It's chromatic so it recognized all pitches in case you use a metronome. Nice and easy.

.Ya gotta admit, Fender makes some pretty cool stuff. These tuners are no exception. Fender is one of few companies that have offered clip on tuners ( or even free standing which I've also had) in interesting colors. I purchased the blue and green models and they're both functional and a treat to look at.
My only gripe is that ( and I didn't see this in the product summary-until after the fact), once clipped to Guitar / Bass, they are ALWAYS ON. You can't leave them on the headstock like other tuners with on-off switches. They must be removed to de-activate power. Other than that small glitch, they work and are almost hypnotizing to look at as you tune your instrument.
