Surprisingly, the most accurately shaped and finished Fender Stratocaster output ack plate on the market, is actually made by Fender. All the after market one's are a bit off here and there. The point on the end is either too sharp, or too round, the space on the sides between the edge of the plate and the recess is always too wide, the screws are either too far or too close from each end, and the over all shape is always off; not equally round everywhere, like it should be. For most, these tiny details mean nothing, but for the real enthusiasts who take pride in the little things, details like these are what matter most. I spent a long time trying to find the most accurate plate on the market, and sure enough, Fender sells the best one.
