This is a very good priced, "from point A to point B" gig bag that is light but padded enough to give you a sense of security. Not exactly outstanding but better than anything of this price range.
I purchased this almost blindly (MF has a great return policy) for my Epiphone ES because I didn't want another heavy wooden box or overpriced plastic container to carry from the van to the gig. Too many years of lugging heavy equipment. Enough is enough. The padding's thick and the fit is perfect. Can't say how it works with Fender equipment, but I'm happy with how it works for me.
Get this bag if you don't mind seeing the Fender logo all the time. If you're touring the world, have your roadies carry your big, fat, expensive gear. I'll eventually replace all my bags with something of this sort—I play mostly acoustic—because, young players, you get older and more tired as you travel around. But, keep playing. It keeps you young and vibrant. And, hell, it's your life!

.When I first ordered this gig bag I was a little concerned that my Mystic CWX, 335 style guitar would not fit in it properly. My fears were misplaced. It fits like it was custom made for my guitar. In fact, this bag should fit just about any semi-hollow, 335 style guitar. The padding is some of the thickest I've seen in a gig bag and should do a very good job of protecting my beautiful, new guitar. There are plenty of pockets to hold accessories and set lists/music. For the price I paid, this is one excellent purchase. Very happy.

.The Metro is a VERY well made and heavily padded gig bag. Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't so darned big for a Strat sized guitar. Easily 2" longer and wider than the guitar so it allows the guitar to slide around inside the bag. Not sure what Fender was thinking when they designed this bag. ???
I'll have to add some padding inside the bag to make if fit a Strat.
What's double weird is that the bag that came with my American Special was similar to this Metro but had a perfect fit.

.Not a bad bag at all...great quality, nice pocket sizes, the backpack-style straps can be detached & kept in pocket on back; very satisfied, excellent price; the padding is better than most on the price range but do be careful, it's not overly-padded...

.Since Custom Guitars Friends dropped the price down to thirty fouf, ninety nine, I'd say it's a fair price to pay for a pretty decent gig bag to keep my Fender MIM Strats safe when not in use. The 25mm thick foam padding offers adequate protection. The pockets offer generous room for music and other things I need for the guitars.
Now, what I think is really cool about these gig bags, are those Fender guitar pick pull tabs, way cool and totally classy. I'm sure there are countless great gig bags on the market, but my MIM Strats seem to favor these the most. And yes, my Squire Strat is also quite fond of these "nap" sacks.

.I was surprised at how sturdy this was. It stands up all by its self. No flex..but it is brand new.
It's tall enough to fit my Jazzmaster which I didn't expect. My older tweed deluxe fender gig bags that were tall enough feel cheap and flimsy compared to this. It is also made of tough nylon farbic..not cheap smelly plastic. As soon as I got it i got back online and ordered two more. Only thing is none of these came from M friend cuz they were back-ordered but I thought since I buy so much stuff here I would leave a review.
