Nice cable good price.
Fender Custom Shop Performance Series Right Angle Instrument Cable Black Tweed 18.6 ft.
.I've been using this cable for a little over a year now and have very few problems with it. no cutting in and out and the cable itself is very durable. after a few months of consistent (daily) use at home and on gigs, the plastic (or whatever material) that covers the connection btw wire and metal jack broke and is sliding free on the cable, but this hasn't had any negitive effects on the cable or its sound so far

.Not a bad cable. It matched my guitar case so I thought why not. It worked for awhile, but the brown pvc shrink tubing on each end started cracking, and soon enough slight movements would cut my signal out. I only use it at home now because if it cuts out every once in awhile it's not a big deal, but I'd never use it for gigs.

.it does the job it was intended for. and is good bang for the buck.
i like the right angle end so it doesn't pull crooked on the jack.
fits great and the ends support the cable. looks good while doing it's job. no problems so far.
a good price for a qulity cable. that's kinda the point when your have to watch the bottom line. you can pay less but you get cheap stuff.

.I have a couple of these. They are really nice looking and do not tangle. They feel good and soft.
But...they do sound a bit thin, not a bad thin - not harsh or brittle just thin more of a warm, soft/spongy sound.
I compared these to my Fender Vintage Voltage..which I thought was a cheaper cable but oh well...The VV sounded better to me..fuller sound more bass..tight bass and clear treble.
Go figure.... I don't hate these cables and they do sound good..just I know I am not getting my full tone out of them - a bit attenuated.
I love Fender everything so I am not knocking Fender...all my vintage amps and guitars are Fender..just I can tell they are softer/spongier..compressed.
They say Hendrix liked the white coil cables and srv liked the cheap coil radio shack cables..They wanted less guitar coming from the cable (there's a whole book ppl could write on such a thing I'm sure) so these may be the thing. I actually used to buy the cheap radio shack cables when I was a kid cuz I thought they sounded less harsh than a Monster cable. And...who's to say the louder harder sounding cables are the correct tone..well, my Monster gold expensive one sounds like that but as stated before I don't like that either. I prefer Fender Vintage Voltage..they are just in the middle of cable/tone mojo craziness.
See attached pic for how well they keep their shape - awesome! On Left is Custom Shop (this cable) 10'..on right is a Vintage Voltage 20'. Both are fairly old.

I have had two of these for awhile. 10 footers. They are very durable and yes they do not tangle. Very nice.
I am not a total tone snob but I was AB-ing my cabes tonight and these sound a bit softer/spongier/compressed than my Fender "Vintage Voltage" and my other brand cables.
This is not necessarily a bad thing; some cables sound too "hard" and harsh so these are ok.
I do think my vintage voltage (which is twice as long) is nicer in that is is more defined and fuller sounding.
I have Monster cables too and others that I think might be actually too loud/hard.
Think of it as a strat and a tele. The tele is a bit harder/in your face sounding and the strat a bit more compressed and less attack.
I know I sound like a total cork-sniffer but really I'm not. I just happen to notice the tone and volume in cords somehow fairly easy. It might be because I just play through Fender clean sounding old tube amps.
I think for hard rock you wouldn't probably notice but for jazz or "moody" clean sounding rock you might use the vintage voltage or another brand.
BTW I have observed "Live Wire" and the cheap M. gear cables to sound awfully harsh and trebly.

Summary: These are cool cables..they don't tangle and are soft and thick tweed.
They do sound a but compressed to me though.
Yet I do use two of them so they aren't going in the trash yet.

.GOT A TWEED CABLE TO MATCH A MAPLE/MAPLE TELE -LOOKS HOT AND HAS GOOD TONE AND SIGNAL REPRO
Fender Custom Shop Performance Series Right Angle Instrument Cable Black Tweed 18.6 ft.
.Purchased several for a fellow musician both right angle and straight jack, one for electric and one for acoustic. Great quality, which you would expect from Fender.
Fender Custom Shop Performance Series Right Angle Instrument Cable Black Tweed 18.6 ft.
.Have just purchased and very taken with extreme flexibility and, seemingly, no sacrifice with sound quality. Since it is my first experience with this particular cable, I can't write of sustained durability. However, Fender has put their name on the product and has lifetime replacement warantee...bangs for the money, I believe. I gave it a 5-star rating because; with no cons and only first impressions and several usages, 5-star was appropriate. Will my rating change?...only use will define.

.Reliable, rugged cables with a classic look with the tweed wrap. Improved clarity, no noise, Quality equipment costs a lot, make sure you get your money's worth. Get this Fender Custom Shop cable.
