Mille Petrozza of the influential German thrash metal band Kreator designed the E-II MK-I as a guitar that would fit the iconic, aggressive style of his music. Like all ESP E-II instruments, the MK-I is built by ESP Japan. Its unique Double Arrow V shape results in a streamlined, beveled look that’s perfect for all heavy music styles.

A neck-thru-body design at 24.75 in. scale with excellent access to the highest frets, the MK-I offers a comfortable alder body, a fast three-piece maple neck with natural satin finish on the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with glow-in-the-dark side markers. It also offers high-end components like a Floyd Rose Original bridge and Gotoh tuners.

The MK-I also makes use of the innovative Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups, which include a voice selection mini switch (down for “Modern Active” tone, or up for “Modern Passive Attack”). This model includes Fishman’s universal USB rechargeable battery pack and hardshell case.
