I have an LTD X-Tone PS1 guitar and thought I may as well buy the case "specifically" made for this one guitar model. The case would not close completely. The top lid was a bit longer than the bottom allowing only one of three latches to stay closed and the one that did was the far left with no lock. Very poorly constructed case. I am very disappointed in the product but luckily the customer service is excellent and took care of me. Stay away from this case.
ESP Xtone Standard Guitar Case
.I'm a smaller touring musician and I picked up an xtone ps1 about a year ago. I love the guitar but hadn't played out with it much since I didn't have a case. The guitar is oddly shaped so there aren't many options for cases. I saw one really negative review of this case and was hesitant. To my surprise this case is fantastic. The case fits my xtone ps1 perfectly and has more padding than other cases I've purchased at similar price points The exterior is solid and about what you would expect from a case at this price point (think slightly nicer than a rondo music case).
Unlike another review I saw, the case closes and functions as expected. The only problem I have is the latches aren't quite as tight feeling as they could be, but they still function as intended.
If you need a case that will actually fit an xtone and you're playing local gigs, small tours, or even just running to your buddy's house to jam this case will get the job done. I might not put this case on a plane but it is plenty sturdy for the type of musician that wants to buy a case at this price point.
Overall I would say the case is worth the investment. Especially because there are so few guitar cases on the market that actually fit the dimensions of the weird almost italic style LP that is the xtone ps1.
