I ended up with a set of these a while ago but had never strung them on a bass since I was totally turned off by the idea of having my bass sounding 'Super Bright' - a bass needs bottom!. I eventually googled them and read some positive reviews and tried them on my Stingray - lo and behold they sounded and felt great! Maybe 'bright' for nickel, but really wonderful balanced punchy sounding strings. I'm sure there are people out there missing out worried that they'll be too strident or brittle sounding with that name. I couldn't be happier with them, and my guitar tech also complemented the strings when I brought my bass in for a tune up recently. Definitely worth giving them a go.
