To summarize, annoying octave sound, radio station, good for metal, Pearl Jam uses these, try before you buy, and not really worth the money.
I bought this pedal mainly for the features. I loved the fact that it had two knobs and a dial, and I also bought it because I read that it is the wah that the members of Pearl Jam use.
Note that I bought mine used off of ebay; the pedal was broken when I first got it. First my signal was cutting out every now and then (I got it back by stomping on the pedal twice), and then it started picking up radio stations. That's right, because of my wah pedal I listened to two football games and a heated discussion on Mitt Romney. Both problems stopped after I unsrewed the underbelly (very thin and flimsy by the way), looked at the inside, said aloud "I have no idea what I'm looking at" and then screwed the bottom back on without touching anything. I fixed a Danelectro flanger the same way when it wouldn't turn off.
There is also a higher octave whenever the pedal is on, on any setting. It sounds good for metal, specifically Metallica, but if I wanted an octave pedal then I would have bought an octave pedal. I just want to hear those low notes without that annoying octave, which apparently is too much to ask for.
Depending on what style you play, it can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. I definately will not be buying from Dunlop Crybaby again. My advice, play a crybaby and then a vox and if you are feeling zaney then a Morely, decide which you like better, then buy your wah. This is probably one of the harder pedal types to buy. Not worth the money in my opinion, but decide for yourself.

.I really like the possibilities I have with the 535Q. It's a very responsive wah capable of producing almost any sound you have in mind. I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a LED to tell you it's on. Sometimes on stage you find your sound weird till you realize it is because the wah was on. This happens no matter how experienced you are. I have two of this.

.Decent wah but I promise you, it will break. Be prepared to add 20 to 50 to whatever you pay after a couple years. My wah is just a couple years old and When it's on it works but when I switch it off there's no sound at all. It needs a new switch. Dunlop will fix it for 50 plus shipping or you can buy the switch for 20 and do it yourself.
I'm no touring musician. I played this wah a bunch when I got it, then about once every couple months just in my living room. It broke under that kind of usage. I'd look elsewhere.

.As my headline says "A life is not enough" to deal with every sound you can have with this bad bad boy.
If you play in a rock band and want your guitar to scream when the wah is on, turn the big knob to position 3. Then, if you want to play some funk, go to position 6. If you feel you need more accent, move the Q knob. If you feel you need more volume when turning the wah, the red button will do the job.
So I find this wah gives me more options than I actually need. If you play a lot of styles, you should consider getting this wah pedal because it is a multiple tool.

.The best pedal I own. Without it, I would be lost! As I said before, I use it incessantly and I am always using it to create new and different tones. It really works well with some settings to manipulate feedback - which I am a huge fan of.
Lots of different dials and settings. Very easy to find your own tone and sound!
It was my second pedal I ever bought, I've had the same one for 10 years and never had a problem with it.
At the time, I felt the price was a little steep - but after playing for a while and using it, it is invaluable. I am constantly using it either as a wah or as a filter type effect. It is a very important part to "my" sound.

.This pedal just quit on me. Like a kill switch! When engaged, it just shuts off the signal. Nice features though. It has some cool adjustments. Contrary to what a lot of reviewers are saying, the red button on the side of the pedal DOES NOT ADD FUZZ!!! and its not supposed to! It engages the volume boost control that can add a little extra power in a wah solo, if you so desire. The other problem is that this is not a true bypass pedal and does seem to suck a little of your tone. Not a lot, but some. I will have to repair this thing with a true bypass switch. For the price it should have these problems!

I bought this for a friend/relative. He wanted a wah for sometime. I own one that's over 30 years old and I gave that to my son. times are a changing. The features on this baby certainly far more than my original wah pedal.
The quality tone it gets. made my guitar sound like it had custom pickups. It brings out dynamics I cannot get alone. The difference in tone control. It is virtually infinite on variations of tone which makes it a great pedal for any genre .The range is also adjustable with like a 5 channel limiter.
Over all, I give it a 10 out of 10 for a wha! The only thing that felt weird about it was the tension. It is super easy to move. but i will get use to it. It's a really great pedal. If it sounded that good through my Digital Vox, I can only imagine how good it will sound through a Real amp!

.Overall, this is the wah you want if you don't want to have to buy a wah again. It's an investment; I can't see myself wanting another wah unless this one quits working.
More variables than any other wah (except maybe the Dime Crybaby). This is really good if you play multiple styles and want multiple wah sounds. You can get a big, dramatic deep wah, or a sharp, jagged thin one, and anywhere in between. Also, the volume boost can give you a little bit of an edge or an aggressive distortion sound. I can accurately mimic Zakk Wylde, Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Hammet,or get a soulful Motown sound, to name a few.
I've only had this for two weeks, so no verdicts yet. HOWEVER, by this time, the Vox wah that I originally bought was already making noise. Feels sturdy though. Take it how you will.
`It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Keep in mind, if you only want one kind of wah sound, this will be a waste of money for you. Buy it if you're going to use the parameter controls.

.This is a real quality product if you're looking for a wah with a lot of versatility and are fairly experienced when it comes to FX. however to someone who just needs some wah in their life, and doesn't need to get to fancy with it, i would reccomend the standard cry baby. much cheaper, and still gives you the great wah tone. in hindsight i wish i had but the standard; i just leave mine set up like a standard and dont mess with the variable q and eq switcher much. the onboard boost is a nice feature though. if you generally use wah in solos it eliminates the need for a boost pedal. Overall, great wah, but not for everyone.

.I have been playing guitar since '89 and used many different wahs for lead playing. I have found that this wah can get close to the Zakk Wylde tone to Jerry Cantrell and more. Flexible tweaking capabilities make this wah a must try for those that have found some wahs work for some songs requiring a wah on parts but those same wahs don't sound as good for a little different wah tone.
