I have spent a lot of time researching the choices for the "best" wah. I've researched what countless musicians use and spent time personally testing several desired wah pedals from the boutique ones to the affordable ones. The "classic" Cry Baby GCB95 came up as a standard and consistent choice. I used to own a wah pedal years ago, so I haven't been biased by being used to the standard-sized wah pedal. I bought the Mini Cry Baby as a curiosity and I initially thought it was going to be gimmicky. I was quickly impressed by what it offers. The three settings for the wah are only the start. I thoroughly assessed all three sounds and ended up falling in love with the "vintage" setting. My next step was to call Dunlop to find out what standard-sized wah offered the "vintage" sound of the mini. I was told the GCB95F (Fasel) would deliver that sound. The more I sat with the idea of a smaller wah vs. the standard-sized GCB95F, the more I realized that this choice was a no-brainer!
The Mini Cry Baby is a true bypass wah that weighs 25% of what a standard-sized wah weighs, it fits much better on a pedalboard, it has 3 sound options including the Fasel inductor, it has great comfort and virtually requires NO learning curve or readjustment if you are used to the full-sized wah. It sits comfortably under your foot and the movement is the same. In my opinion, the sounds of the GCB95F and the GCB95 are also much better in the Mini Cry Baby as opposed to their standard-sized counterparts. Furthermore, the price is awesome. My only complaints are as follows... I would have preferred for the mode selector switch to be accessible from the outside instead of having to remove the wah from my pedalboard and unscrew the bottom plate in order to access it. And, the size could have been a bit bigger. BOSS is about to release their PW-3 and the size of their wah is a happy balance between the large original Cry Baby and the new Mini Cry Baby. In the end, I am happy! I've gotten used to the pedal's size, and the sound blows me away.

.On the plus side, the promotional material is true. It's a great sounding wah. It has good range. It growls with the Fasel as it should, and the internal dip switch provides three very usable tones. It stacks well with a warm fuzz (op amp schottky diode, my own design) or a tube screamer. Works great with a small stone as well.
I've used Budda, RMC, Vox, Dunlop, and Modded versions. The mini holds it's own.
On the minus side, the throw takes adjustment. The ads are correct that the range is the same as big brother, but the pedal travel is wider than the full size Cry Baby. I have to step back away from the pedal and throw my hip to get the full range. It works beautifully and is quite expressive, but it does take some getting used to. Some complain about the lack of treble and the throw is the reason. You have to adjust to get full range.
I was playing a modded Rev. G GCB-95. My modded pedal still sounds slightly better, but not a whole lot better. For the space this takes, it's worth the trade off. Just remember to place it at the top of your pedal board to avoid other pedals and help you with the throw.

Bought this for a Pedaltrian Nano that I use as a studio / fly rig. Great tone and functionality, I actually like the tone better than the 535Q on my main rig. Despite the small size, it feels fine underfoot. Have ended up using it on quite a few sessions. An LED would be a bonus, but not sure where they would fit it...

.Ordered this baby and I am a happy camper. The sound is good. I especially like the medium setting, which the brochures describes as vintage. The setting is what I preferred over the other. My only comment is, it is a bit hard to turn the wah on. You had to extra tip toe to click the switch. Ditto when you want it out. Aside from that, I hope to enjoy using this stuuf for quite sometime.

.output jack came off even before connecting to anything.
found out the groove was already messed up and couldn't put it back.
Wanted to return it but already discarded the return label and the box....
Dunlop Cry Baby Mini Wah Pedal
.I love this pedal. The only downside is that it's really hard to use while wearing heels. I often have to take my shoe off during mini wah moments, which I guess is still worth having all that extra space on my pedal board and less weight to carry around.

.Walk-in at Guitar Center. Was gonna buy the used one in stock. Since I was trading, they knocked off 10% on the pedal. Gave fair prices on the EH pedals I exchanged. Worked fine in the store. Waited a week, applied velcro, mounted on the mini board and the switch got real scratchy both activated and in bypass. No hassle exchange.

.This wah sounds great. The selector switch on the inside lets you set the pedal range from low to high. It doesn't take long to get used to the smaller pedal. I was using a full tone Clyde standard pedal but this wah has the sound I was looking for. It just sounds like a wah is supposed to sound. Love it.
Dunlop Cry Baby Mini Wah Pedal
.I added this to my pedalboard, and love it.
