I also own the LP koa wood. Both are excellent playing and sounding guitars. I love koa wood and love epiphone guitars.
Epiphone Limited Edition Wildkat Koa Electric Guitar Natural
.I've had this guitar about a week n it hasn't had a rest. Done some demo recordings on it already and it's sound, tone and action are beautiful! I have 9 other quality guitars but it looks like this is my new 'go to' guitar. P90 pick ups are GREAT, Bigsby tremolo is top quality (as always!). The KOA top is just beyond beautiful! If you don't know what "KOA" wood is, it's Hawaiian; worth your while to check it out. Mine has the "quilted" quality. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with it
