I mulled over which Ukulele, if any, I was gonna get. I tried a bunch of them,soprano/concert/tenor/baritone; checked out the gambit of the major brands- Kala, Lanikai, even some of those Pineapple shaped jobs. You know: footwork.Although my search was by no means total, (nothing custom, and I only played 1 Luna)I ended up buying this model, and I think I made a good choice. Listen, the real reason I bought it was the same reason every one of us owns the instruments we do...I saw it and I just knew. If you keep looking at this one, wanting it, but aren't sure if it is sturdy or if it sounds good-- it is and it does. It stays (relatively) in tune, and it has a solid construction and a lightweight feel. No truss rod, but plug ins, which is a decent trade off. It even has a bit of a personality, if you take the time to get to know it. If you think you want to try a Uke, try it. It informs any instrument to tackle a new string structure and instrument shape. I'm glad I did, and I like the one I bought.

.My wife purchased this ukulele for our anniversary. I researched a number of them myself and could not be happier. It was a warm, rich sound. Its so easy to play right out of the box. And best of all it has a fantastic sound. I'd recommend to anyone.
Cordoba 20TM Tenor Ukulele
.I picked this up a few weeks ago, and since then I've played it pretty much every day. The construction seems solid, and the Aquila strings sounds excellent out of the box (after an initial tuning). My only qualm is that the tuning pegs are a bit cheap and plasticky - they don't match the quality of the rest of the instrument. Overall, though, well worth it.

.Don't get me wrong it's a nice little uke with a very nice case, but the wood is not all solid like they advertise. The back is clearly laminated. The tone is okay and the action is high right out of the box.
Cordoba 20TM Tenor Ukulele
.Am just learning the ukelele and this instrument is a perfect fit for me!

.purchased one that was cheaper had no trouble returning it and I am thrilled with this cordoba
