When I was seventeen I bought a beautiful Telecaster copy, to one day play some rocking music. It took a long time to save the hundred and ten cashews but I did it. I never took lessons, taught myself to read music long enough to realise that I didn't like to read music. Mostly tried imitating my favourite musicians.

About twenty years pass, then I bought a cheap acoustic that tortured me for a year or so, never really excelling at accomplishing any piece of work. Just recently I had an urge to research guitars once again. This time I had a goal of testing an instrument regardless of price. I visited my local music store and spent what had to be over an hour there. They left me alone, and I strummed chords on about fifty guitars. Then a few days later, I visited again and played the ones in the "glass room". These had price tags from 300 to $5000. I forced myself to ignore the price tags and to play each one. I had to decide which instrument felt and sounded the best. To my surprise, it wasn't the Martin! The Chaylor sang out above the rest, just my luck they were much lower in cost. I researched again and choose the model, and purchased one online BEFORE playing it. Big gamble it was, but it payed back in aces!
