I don't know what the previous reviewer's problem is. This power supply came with my Boss GT-6 and I never had a problem with the quality. I really abused that thing the way I threw it around, but it still lasted FOREVER. I actually lost it (accidently left it at a venue or something) and that's the only reason I need a new one. My only complaint is the price of this thing. Almost 40 bucks? YIKES. And it's such an odd voltage that you can't buy a cheaper substitute anywhere. So that's why I gave it a lower value rating. But as long as you don't lose it like I did, it'll last forever.

.I have bought cheap knockoffs in the past just buy the real deal you will have a lot less problems and you don't have to worry about damaging your equipment.
Boss BRC120 Power Supply
.Boss could have thought this out a lot better. The newer GT series have slightly better power supplies, but I don't know why they just don't plug in like an amp - it would be a little heavier, but definitely worth it. Bottom line is you have to use Boss's proprietary gear or it doesn't work.
Boss BRC120 Power Supply
.An unusual match between the miliampres and voltage. Couldn't find one anywhere. Costs a little more than I expected but when you need it you need it. Faulty equipment is unacceptable. Though it was my fault it got damaged I look past the price to have dependable equipment.
Boss BRC120 Power Supply
.So on the back of my DR-770 it says to use a 14V AC 700mA, so I bought one and cut the adapter off and put one on that fit and lo and behold my DR-770 is too dim and keeps cutting off... checked online and the Roland recommended power adapter is 14V AC 800mA. Deceptive sneaky practices to get you to pay over double for a simple power adapter. Why not just go blatantly proprietary like Sony? Sheesh...
Boss BRC120 Power Supply
.I cannot understand how Boss can live with itself. Most other manufacturers include their power supply, while Boss chooses to market it's products with all sorts of other hidden costs. For example, I need to replace the original plug for my ME-50 (which is only 8 months old and never gets used to play out) because it is thin and cheap, but that adds yet another cost to a product that already need other pedals to operate completely. LAME LAME LAME!
Boss BRC120 Power Supply
.Works great.
My old DR880 power supply got damaged. This was the exact replacement and worked like a charm.
Kinda pricy
