This tuner is extremely accurate. For many years I used a cheap tuner that would never settle and constantly jump around when trying to tune my guitar. This tuner does not jump around at all even when tuning low.
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.I bought this tuner to use in my studio. After one year, it malfuctioned. Try getting anything back from Boss. A VERY high priced tuner for what you get. I bought a korg yaers ago for the road, and it is now in the place of the Boss. I`ll pick up another Korg for the road. I am really unhappy with this tuner and Boss. Their quality has been going down hill for years, and they seem to be making a good living off their former reputation. I`d skip this product and save some bucks in the long run.
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.I had this tuner for a few weeks now and love it.Ive had lots of different tuners over the years but never one like this. Most cheap tuners will get you close to pitch but this thing is just great i never have to fine tune by ear anymore.Very nice case.Lights up nice and bright at night. It even makes a cool little beep when in tune.Awesome product.
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.This is a good example of you really do get what you pay for. I have used several other tuners in the past (Various iPhone apps, QuikTune, Korg, Intellitouch etc) and this one by far is the most accurate. The needle doesn't jump like most other tuners either.
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.I ordered the Boss TU-12EX to replace the TU-12H I've used for thirty years. Although a little thinner than the older model it is just a touch taller so I had to enlarge the space a little in my old Boss pedal box, not a problem with a Dremel. I like the fact that the needle is adjustable without taking the thing apart like the old one, good to know if it ever gets off. Also, cents are marked every 2 cents instead of every 5 cents which might be useful. I've never used some of the features like flat tuning, or the audible tone; just need a reliable, accurate tuner. And I like these instead of the Boss pedal tuner because I can always take it out of my pedal box, put a battery in it and use it for acoustic instruments with the mic when needed.
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.I have tried several tuners - I prefer this one over the other two that I have (Behringer TU300 and Yamaha YT150}. In fact, I gave the Yamaha away.
I have been a big fan of the Behringer line (most all my effects are) but have been slowly moving away case in point, the tuner being reviewed!
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.I was trying to find the Boss TU-15 Chromatic tuner (no longer available it seems) and thought I`d give this a try. The older unit had a display light(with on/off switch)and some preset open tuning settings but this is a solid tuner and still has the two red tuning arrows as well as VU meter style display and the flat tuning feature.
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.It's better than My' Older Model Boss Tu-12 was.
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.Well, I wanted good quality tuner for my studio. This one does not tune correctly - so there is not much to say about it more. There is better tuner out there that most people including me are afraid to use - OUR EARS. I tuned my guitars for half of my life (I'm 51 now) using my ears and I was fine. The minute I started using tuners - I have problems with tuning.... LOL
Boss TU-12EX Chromatic Tuner for Guitar & Bass
.Wish they still made the Boss TU-15 tuner
