For incredible stability and tons of sustain, the 9pc. wenge/bubinga/maple BTB5 neck runs through the body and features graphite reinforcement rods. The neck also sports an extra-long 35 scale length to provide unparalleled articulation, tight, even tension with no flopping on the low end, and added sustain on the high strings. The rosewood fingerboard houses 24 medium frets that have undergone Ibanez's exclusive Premium fret edge treatment for exceptional playability and fretting-hand comfort.Not only does this bass have an amazing feel and look, but the BTB1605E Premium also offers a great sound and incredible sonic flexibility thanks to its versatile electronics.
