Needed to replace some close to breaking strings, can't get much better value in a bass string.

.They had pretty bright tone first 2-3 weeks. But then they died. That metallic ringing disappeared very soon. I played really a little and my bass was in a bag most the time.

.well, i was expecting a bright, cutting tone with stainless steel strings, and i got that for a couple of hours. I put them on a morning before a band practice and by the end of the day, they sounded dead. They keep in tune really well, but they sound like nickels.
