I saw this shirt and thought the logo was amazing. It seemed pretty expensive to me, but since Custom Guitar's Friend has great prices, I figured it was a high quality item.
Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was expecting a Dickies style, thick mechanic's work shirt. What I got, was a paper thin, made in Honduras novelty shirt.
I ordered several Fender shirts in this order, all XL. All fit except this one. It was definitively undersized. Their XL is closer to a Medium.
But here's the best part. When I called Custom Guitar's Friend to exchange it, they told me they couldn't take it back because I tried it on! They said that is their clothing policy. As Shrek would say, "Now there's some fine print for ya!" How can you buy clothing items from a company that has a no return policy?
I love Custom Guitar's Friend, and had never had a bad experience with them. I'm not going to categorize this as a bad experience, just a ridiculous one. Their solution to this dilemma was to buy another shirt!
No refund, no credit, no exchange, buy another shirt? Why would I want to do that, when the first one was such a disappointment?
Great logo, novelty store quality, runs at least one size small, can't return it if it doesn't fit.
You've been warned.

.Not sure that the previous commenter got the same shirt that I did but the Fender Strat shirt I received was pretty nice. This is a Dickies brand work shirt and has a nice Fender logo embroidered on the front and cool Fender Strat Anniversary grsphics on the back. No complaints here. I usually float btween wearing a large or x-large shirt and right now I am definitely in the extra large range and the shirt fits perfectly. Cool shirt, good quality and I recommend to all....G-Man

.I wear a medium size. I bought the Medium size of the other Fender work shirt design, and it is VERY SNUG like a Small. So when I bought this one, I bought size Large, and it fits just right. So, as others have said, these run small and you should buy a size larger than you usually wear. Otherwise, it's a short-sleeve Dickies work shirt like you'd see at your local working class clothing store, only with Fender decorations.
I rated four rather than five for two reasons. First, the collar on mine is kinda wonky. Malformed. Not horrible, but not crisply normal either. Probably why mine ended up in the pile for sale on SDOTD.
Second, the design. The genius of the Stratocaster body shape is that it looks like it's moving really fast just standing still. Adding those extra lines to try to make the Strat look like it's flying just distracts from the iconic, genius lines of the guitar design. It's overdone, and thus underwhelms. It makes me think of icicles, or stalactites, or that the guitar has just plunged through a viscous pool of snot green ectoplasm and is trying desperately to shed its clingy, disgusting coating.
Otherwise, cool shirt.

.Purchased on sale (SDOTD). I was worried about the fit and the sizing because button down the front have no give like a T-shirt, so I bought a size up to make sure I was comfortable and the fit was perfect.
