I purchased my Fender Sonoran SCE a few months ago and fell in love with it the moment I picked it up, it has a great Stratocaster feeling neck, very well setup out of box with no adjustments needed, the tuners while generic work just fine and are easily replaced with the superior Fender Vintage Style Tuners with no modifications to the guitar whatsoever, I've played many guitars from Martin, Taylor, Gibson, Takamine, Washburn, Seagull, Guild and many many more and this one will outshine any guitars in it's price point (the only exception possibly being the Seagulls depending on the model) if you're on the fence about buying this guitar try going to a local music shop and playing it and you'll fall in love with it the same way I did, it produces a great tone that's unrivaled by most other guitars in it's price point, the only guitar I own that I love more is my Ovation 1862 Custom Balladeer from the 80's and this one easily rivals it in looks and tone. The only real downside is the stock strings with are Fender brand strings but they're easily replaced with a good set of Elixirs.

.I bought this guitar because it has a resemblance to my 1983 Fender Balboa acoustic-electric. The Balboa is my baby, which I still use when I play live. I've bought other more expensive guitars to use as back ups(yes even a Martin DMX), but they really couldn't get the sound I was looking for. This Fender Sonoran SCE has it!! Ease of play,full sound, and great looks!! For the price this is a no brainer! I played a set with it at my last gig and was very impressed! Get it!

.I've been playing guitar for 57 years and I've played,built,repaired,Etc., a lot of them, so
don't get me wrong it's a nice guitar but it's like most all other electric acoustics they all have too much tingy sound.If I was designing a electric acoustic I would locate the pick up away from the bridge more near the sound hole then you would get more of the real sound of the guitar and more resonance...

.I played one of these guitars at local music store during four separate trips. Quality of tone, easy action and feel sealed the deal for me. Needed an acoustic for an outside venue and this guitar met all the requirements, plus my limited budget. My wife loves it too and even said she understood why I bought it. The first show only confirmed what I knew, a great buy for a fabulous sounding guitar! You'll fall in love with it too. Go play one and you will get one too. I recommend this guitar without hesitation. Right out of the box it's ready for the show. You'll be proud of making this choice.

.I'll start off by saying I didn't get this guitar from MF, and it wasn't at the same price. However, it would be worth it even at MF's price.

Compared to other acoustic/electric guitars at a similar price point, this one blows most of them away. It looks nice, it sounds nice, it has good action and a decently fast neck, and the electronics are great. I was skeptical at first, having had bad experiences with Fender acoustic/electrics in the past, but after playing this at the music store for over an hour, I decided I had to have it.

I had been looking for a good ac/elec for a while, and had a hard time choosing because of prices. The Sonoran is well worth the price.

I would definitely recommend this to any guitarist.

.Good overall value, plugged in it rings like a bell. Has a true sound..not plugged it is a tad thin but overall good....it shines plugged in....great neck ,,,very fast...Just a cool product you can be proud of the name and the sound the gitbox makes....Finish is great and good quality.

.I wanted an inexpensive guitar to take to the beach and that also had a pickup to supplement my great but non-electric Martin. I'd been thinking about the Sonoran for a few years because I love the neck and headstock. I finally got one last week and am really loving it. I have this guitar hanging in a convenient spot on my bedroom wall, so I find myself picking it up every day. It won't replace my HD-28, but it's the best and most usable guitar I've played in this price range. Really a lot of value here.
