TAKAMINE FLYING A 1983 - There were only 800 of these very unusual gems made. This Flying A has a very nice Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. It's one of 2 that we have and we are selling one and keeping the other for our collection. This guitar has a Takamine EQ system built in and has sliders on the side of the guitar.
This Flying A is in remarkable shape and condition considering it's age and rarity. There are two one inch lines (marks) on the lower right face of the guitar. They appear to be old because the Patina of the face seems to have absorbed the marks making them look like part of the wood. Other than that there does not appear to be any other blemishes on this very well preserved guitar.
The Sound of this guitar is wonderful, full of projection and clarity, with solid wood tones. The neck is a typical Takamine neck: very easily played, fast and low action with great intonation. Comes with it's original hard case, and a color brochure explaining this very unique and collectible guitar.
Let me know if you have any questions or want to see other aspects of the guitar in pictures.
