The Collings C10 is based on the body shape of the venerable Gibson L-0 / L-00 models of the 1930s. Collings has taken this basic design to new heights with their impeccable craftsmanship and ultra-smooth construction, while maintaining a true balance throughout. This particular example has Indian rosewood back and sides, something that Gibson never did with the L-00s, and a Sitka spruce top. Combine this with a longer 25.4 scale length, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Waverly tuning machines (the world's best), and superior Collings workmanship overall, and you've got one of the sweetest, most robust-sounding, and crisp-playing smaller bodied steel string guitars of all time.
