-The Pick Guard. Mahogany pick guard. I'm not sure how far it improves the sound, but surely, it reverberates better than plastic and it was fun to make. The pick guard has a veneer of exotic woods: Walnut Burl (center), Paduck stripes and Wenge (on the sides.) I also hand carved some Hot Road flames (very subtle, you notice them only when close.) Laquer 10% sheen finish.
-The wood graining on the body. I'm an artist, this is stuff I'v done in high end homes. I started doing this in my guitars and began getting some compliments on it, so here it is, hand painted, isolated, then lacquered it.
-The Pickups:
NECK
-P-Rails –a combination of Hot Rails and P-90 in a hum-bucker enclosed in a Triple-Shot system by Seymour Duncan. Means you can split to single coil tone, either from the P-90 or the Hot Rail, and combine them in series or parallel. You got to hear this one.
BRIDGE
-Little 59' –a classic jewel, with the same Triple-Shot system adapted behind the metal plate.
ADDITIONAL
-A mini switch to combine the bridge and neck in an Off-phase or Phase configuration. Great for serious funky or alternative phrases.

This Tele was made with love. I'm a carpenter (Gral. Contractor by trade) and a ghost musician by night (on headphones while family sleeps). I'm passionate about tone, so I've researched and implemented many mods on my own collection. This particular guitar packs much of what I've found to be pleasing on my exploration over a Telecasters. The choice of P-90 came when I realized that in several classic tunes I considered outstanding, the P-90 pickup was present (i.e. "Bubble shuffle" by Larry Carlton). I plan to do more of this modded Teles, and have already several other icons on their way.
