1977 Greco FV-900 Flying V. This is the real deal, all original electronics, hardware, and incredible pickups. It has been refinished. It's a decent job, but not professional. Thankfully they left the back of the headstock alone. Check the photos closely. This isn't a museum piece, it's a rock and roll tool ready to use!
This is a cool guitar. I have a highly sought-after Ibanez Rocket Roll Senior. Both guitars were made in the very reputable Fujigen factory, probably by the very same guys using the the same parts. If there's any difference from the Rocket Roll other than the name, I cannot tell you what it is. If this guitar said Ibanez it would be twice the price!
Recently professionally cleaned and set up. Low action, ready to play. The rubber skid is missing, I believe it is easily replaceable. Will ship very well packed and with a gig bag.
There's a reason these Fujigen Vs from the 1970s are becoming so collectible. I currently own four of them, and they are honestly better than any Gibson V I have ever owned. Was Japan making better guitars than the US in the '70s? A lot of people think so, and I'm one of them. Here's your chance to find out without breaking the bank.
Thanks!
