Here's a great 1980 Kramer DMZ 1000. I owned this guitar for 15 years, it's a more scarce body type with sharp horns. All original!
The good:Made in USA
Maple body, walnut stripes
Aluminum neck, ebonol fretboard
Dimarzio PAF Humbuckers (note, I briefly had a Duncan JB in the bridge and put the original pickup back)
Great player!
Good shape for being 37 years oldAll original, including electronics
Notes, disclosures etc:
There is some fret wear especially around 3-5 frets. This was definitely a player's guitar. However, this doesn't create problems and a fret job isn't necessary yet. When the time comes, I recommend using Petillo Guitars--they have experience (and shared history) with Kramer lumiesA few dings-one on front on upper bout and a few around the upper hornOne of the rivets for the roller nut is missing--this doesn't affect tuning stability. Since these have a zero fret, the roller nut was mostly a cosmetic conceptRivet for the G-string tuner is replaced with a brass oneComes with non-original chipboard case in good shape, with a couple of stickersGuitar comes with a new finetuning Schaller 456 bridge, I will also include the original Schaller 455 bridge (these are interchangeable without any mods)
