1963 Fender Stratocaster. This guitar features what appears to be a very old lacquer refinish job on the body, while the neck features original finish, with a nice, pro refret. The electronics are original, including pickups, pots, tone cap, etc. Bridge, saddles, trem parts, etc. are all original. Tuners are original Kluson Single lines.
The Mint Green guard is a reproduction, while knobs and pickup covers are original. A trem bar is not pictured, however a Fender reproduction vintage trem arm will be supplied.
The serial number is L20XXX. Neck date is AUG 63, while body date is 9/63. Original pots are dated 304 6321 for two pots, while the third is dated 304 6309. The guitar weighs 7.5 lbs. The neck is a nice medium C shape, bigger than earlier 60's models, at .828" at 1st fret and .998" at 12th fret. Original pickups measure, from neck to bridge, 5.7K Ohms, 5.9K Ohm, and 5.3K Ohms.
The guitar ships in a later vintage Fender, black Tolex case.
