Aside from it's great feel, the WCG25SCE has a solid spruce top paired with rosewood sides and fingerboard to give you plenty of projection while giving you enough tonal play to tackle any style of music with this natural beauty. When you need a boost in your band's mix, or are doing a "plugged-in" event, a Fishman Presys+ Preamp System has you covered. Designed and built to offer maximum control, performance and quality in a small, unobtrusive format, it gives you low-profile Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls, a Phase switch, and a built-in tuner with LED display. Other quality appointments include a Grover tuners with Ebonite buttons, alternating maple/mahogany rosette, mahogany elbow comfort binding on the lower bout, black NuBone nut & saddle, and bookmatched back split by a maple/mahogany/maple strip.

Custom Guitar's Friend is the best music store around!! Good deals, fair prices & great customer service. With that said I do like this guitar with the exception that it had a poor fret job on it that needed some work I took care of that but you would think that Washburn would have better quality control. Any way all is good after doing a fret and setup job. Guitar is very comfortable to play.

.The material put into a USA made instrument makes it feel heavier and more solid. Foreign instruments feel lighter made and cheaper.

.As a former touring musician I have had the pleasure of playing many guitars, some are better than others. My Washburn comfort series played well with only minor set-up changes to meet my personal preferences directly from the box. The arm bevel is fantastic, no more, scrapes bruises or rashes after several hours of playing time. Sustain, sustain,sustain... it seems to ring forever. Crystal clear tone, harmonics are on the money and the neck and frets are fast and tight, Overall I would say it is a VERY good guitar and worth every penny. My only real complaint is the case...ie...there isn't one. I spent 3 months on a wait list for the recommended case only to find out it didn't fit the guitar. I finally decided on a Washburn dreadnought case that fits reasonably well considering it wasn't made for a Grand auditorium style guitar. So until they get that figured out, it is only a 4 star instead of a 5.
