I heard and read so much about this guitar and how I should not get one, well i did. Maybe I got lucky cause this one that I will play till it blows up, yes I have played other guitars but theres a soft place in my heart for this guitar. Every now again I pick it up and play it just to remember the headaches it gave while learning how to play the thing, then I got pick up American strat and I wonder what the difference is, plain and simple one of the best intro guitars out there.

.This is definetely an entry level guitar. I've had mine for about 7 years now and everything that could go wrong with it...has. It does NOT have an alder body which is going to give you that classic Fender tone. This particular guitar has a generic "hardwood" body that is popular or agathis, maybe? Don't get me wrong, if you don't any specifics about woods or pickups, I say grab, however, if your advanced and looking for those recognizable Fender Stratocaster bell-like harmonics, I would suggest saving up and buying the American made left handed model or the 68 model.

.1s. 1s on everything. there are guitars out there for the same or even lower price that are better quality. now, i know this is for beginners, but even they deserve something better. i figured id pick up and play this guitar in-store, and i was actually getting mad. ive played guitar for years, and for the life of me, i COULD NOT TUNE THIS GUITAR. how is a beginner supposed to improve if they dont know how a tuned guitar sounds. also, the action is incredibly high, higher than some acoustic guitars ive played. do yourself a favor and pick up an epiphone for the same price and youll at least get a humbucker.

.Even if you are right handed you could buy this guitar, just flip it upside down and restring it, then you could be like Jimi Hendrix, only he did that with right handed guitars.

.I have played this guitar since I started playing guitar, and its an excellent guitar. It is a beginner guitar, but through a decent amp it sounds great, pretty good tone, and great for learning on. It has a slight buzzing when using certain pickup combinations, but other that its great. It stays in tune great, I hardly ever tune it. The only problem with it is that if you are using the tremolo bar its going to go out of tune VERY QUICKLY, it is clearly not designed for this purpose. Other than that, great guitar, the playability of the guitar compares easily to my friends Ibanez, sweet deal. I have not had anything break on this guitar ever, I have heard of other people having issues with their guitars, but mine has held up perfectly well. Great buy.

.I'm a new player and this guitar has it all. I'm just learning the scales and finally have the a d e chords changes down and only after 2 weeks. I recommend this company and their products especially this guitar. Get a left-hand guitar book but also get a right handed dvd so when practicing it is like looking into a mirror what a help this is. thanks again to all the support staff. also when you receive your guitar make sure to get it "set-up" at a local shop. don langiano

.I got this Stratocaster in a Squire beginners package and have no complaints except that tremolo usage can make it go out of tune eventually, and then the tremolo needs adjustment. Other than that this is a good guitar.I had a luthier do a "tune up" on it and I have a great time playing it now. Its great as long as the action is the right height.

.I bought this in a beginners pack and its a pretty good guitar for a beginner. The only complaints I've had is that the tremolo use will knock it out of tune, and thers some buzz in the pickups. But for the price you cant beat it. It does have a great sound though in some of the pickup positions. I would highly recommend this for anyone interested in learning to play.
