Product Description

The Rickenbacker 360 Electric Guitar broke all the rules when it appeared amidst the British sound of the 1960s. Subtly updated through the years, this deluxe semi-hollowbody with its special contour around the entire body perimeter is incredibly comfortable. The unique body shape and rosewood fingerboard inlaid with triangular pearloid markers offer rich, retro visuals. The maple neck has dual truss rods while single-coil pickups deliver everything from clean tone to biting overdrive. Controls include volume and tone via a 3-way selector for each pickup. A master preset allows tone and volume settings to be accessed instantly with a toggle. Stereo output is standard with the Rickenbacker 360.

A die-hard Strat guitarist for decades, I always wanted a Ric and finally broke down and bought the 360. It is now my primary guitar because I can more easily play both lead and rhythm on the same guitar without any sacrifice to sound, clarity or tone, no matter what amp I plug it into. The first thing you'll notice is the narrow, low-profile fretboard (compared to a wider Strat fretboard or the Ernie Ball Music Man Armada's baseball club fretboard, both of which I enjoy for breathing room when playing the blues. The Ric's action is very precise and accommodates fast fingering exceptionally well without any fret buzz or other collateral noises. It's a light guitar and feels like it was measured to fit my body and hands. My Ric-360 is 23 years old and in showroom condition, so I was amazed how well the years have been to this beautiful guitar. The craftsmanship is top-notch; American made with no sacrifice to quality. The only downside I have to offer in this modest review is that the tone controls are just so-so. You'll need to make your adjustment at the amp for the most part, but this really doesn't quality as a "negative" of a "con". If you ever get a chance to play one of these exceptional guitars, don't deny yourself the opportunity.

.Can't say enough good things about this beautiful guitar. I purchased a Rickenbacker 360 in JetGlo finish, earlier this year. It arrived in beautiful shape, sounding and playing great, right out of the box. The Ric 360 JG is a classic, in my opinion, made famous by Peter Buck of R.E.M. The tuxedo look of the black with the white binding is just so darn stylin', and the full-width MOP inlays take it over the top, in terms of appearance. I am getting a warm and full clean sound, at any setting, without having to to make any adjustements from the factory set-up. I have also cranked this thing up with lots of distortion, and it really can roar as a rock guitar. If you think you would like a Rickenbacker, I don't think you can go wrong with this guitar. The RIC corporation simply puts out a consistently great product.

.As a longtime Beatles and Byrds, and later Jam fan, this is a dream come true, but it's so good it feels still like a running dream. I really feel I'll play better and write better songs from now on, such is my self-confidence now I own this desire object, forget Apple (for a while). Even I look better in a mirror with this guitar on.
This guitar is playable as Heaven. I tried the 330 before and it's not for me, but the 360's neck is home to my fingers. The adjustment buttons work perfectly and the explanation in the brochure really helps to make the most out of them, a thing some other brands could easily include in their guitars but don't.
Well this is not a cheap guitar but you can tell blindfold it's worth every dollar. Balance, sound, features, this is the Rolls-Royce of guitars, no wonder so much rock legends choose them. It's good even for breaking it, if you ask some Mr.Townshend.
For an European, even paying some dreary import customs, I paid less than I would have done in Germany (best continental prices). Mine was supposedly second hand but I couldn't find the difference to a new one, everything was like new, the case, the case keys into an unopened envelope... Not a trace of the "belt" scratches usual to a 2nd hand guitar.

.Have owned the 370 12 string and wanted to give this a go. It's much more comfortable to play than my Les Paul Traditional and less quirky than the PRS. To the best of my knowledge it's still made in the USA!

.In the first hour of playing, I thought that I had made a mistake in buying it. Stopped and read the owner's manual (non-typical controls). Made a few adjustments in the setup. Bingo! If you are new to Rickenbackers, as I was, start with the pickup selector in the middle position, and with both volumes and both tones maxed. Adjust your volume at the amp. Now experience the full sweep of the blend knob. Good stuff! You can now find your own way. Excellent guitar, once you get it figured out, and adjust to the feel of the narrow and thin neck.

.I recently purchased a Rickenbacker 360 Fireglo, which is absolutely stunning. The newer full-width inlays evoke the '60s style.Aside from being slightly out of tune upon arrival,(sitting in the case for 6 months),there's no quality issues whatsoever. It's a July 2010 and just as solid if not better than previous years.Flawless semi-hollow construction and finish, with that classic clear, cut through the mix sound. It's great to have the 360 back again.

.I purchased the Rickenbacker 360 Fireglow 6 string model and it was great right out of the box. No set up was needed and the only thing I changed right off the bat were the strings. (I have a perference of strings) The electronics are great but take a little getting use too due to being very different from everything else I own. The sound is awesome and the pick ups very reponsive.
Quality is spot on and the workmanship is superb. Looks "SWEET" hanging off my shoulder and the only thing I can say is that I wish I could have own one a long time ago!
Rickenbacker 360 Electric Guitar Fireglo
.Absolutely fantastic. There really is nothing bad to say about this guitar, Rickenbacker does a fantastic job in all fields, whether it's electronics, quality, playability, everything. 5/5 stars.
Rickenbacker 360 Electric Guitar Fireglo
.This guitar sounds like a child's toy. Everything about it seemed cheap. Including the flimsy case. I sent it back.
Rickenbacker 360 Electric Guitar Fireglo
.As I mentioned before I love the action on this guitar. And the Fireglo color is magnificent. And as far as the varnish on the neck I didn't like that it is sticky, I am hoping that a little wax will take care of it.
One of the best guitars I have played. The action is smooth right out of the box.
This quitar is beautifully crafted. I did fine the varnish is very sticky on the neck of the guitar. I am hoping that a little wax will help out with this minor problem.
I feel that I received the best value online here.
