Got this for stage in cover band. Tone cloud is great. Find the patch you need for a certain song and save it. Tweak it if necessary. Once you save them it's simple. All on your ipad (or iphone). No bending over knobbing or stomping away in between songs. Setlist on ipad in order. Just tap and it loads the tone via Bluetooth. Seconds between songs no distractions. Sound quality is line 6 great. This will replace a lot if your boxes. If you do covers ( originals) this is a must have

.Had an Amplifi 75. Not Loud enough.Sold and bought Amplifi 150. Great sounds, but you need to get the additional foot pedal Control. I run my new Amplifi Fx100 through my Atomic Amp. You get 100 Presets, plus additional sounds through the tone cloud. I love it. Fun to change presets through the Amplifi App..VERY Easy to use, and gig ready..

.I love the ability to access my music library and find tones similar to EVH, Foo Fighter, Hindrix etc. Some of the tones aren't close, but it's so easy to tweak the effects from the app, and then save them as my tones for easy use. only down-side i'm finding is that you can't turn off the individual effects from the pedal board, only the app. this creates a challenge when playing live.
I'm still learning how to use it though, and have been amazed at the sound quality for this price.
Definitely recommend you give this a try.

.My son purchased this with his Christmas money, he plays for his youth praise band at our church and absolutely loves it. He has had positve comments from his worship leader. Great pedal.

.I read some not so favorable reviews of the FX100. The key with any multi effects processor is... learn how to use it. The pedal screams sound and quality. Construction is rugged to gig with. I use it in conjunction with an IPad Pro. I read here people frustrated about using the app in a live setting to switch between patches. FYI that is what the programable banks are for. Interface is clean- pre loaded patches are decent, but it's all good foundation to start with and build your own sound around them. An overlooked feature is the quality of using the wah pedal. It's a dream not to have hissing. To be able to stack effects with no ugly feed back is just mint. I dig this over the HD500X which I once had, the software program for that pales in comparison.. clean sound on recordings too.

If you plug it into a 10 watt marshal, don't expect a wall of sound. It's a beautiful complemtary piece to gear at its level of quality.

Buy it, build sounds. Have fun.

The AMPLIFI FX100 is a fun multi-effects unit to jam around with. The ability to download "similar to" tones from the cloud is fantastic. Some of them are worthy, while some need help. It's easy to use once you get it up and operational, which in and of itself was quite the undertaking. I had zero success getting this unit to play nicely with an android based tablet. After nearly 4 hours of futility I was ready to pack it up and send back, but decided to give it one more shot with an Apple iPad Air 2. I had to immediately download a firmware update that took almost an hour, but I finally got it up and running.

I'm having a blast jamming to my favorite tracks streamed through bluetooth, and the headphone jack means my wife won't kill me anytime soon. I've bought myself a stay of execution.

I would recommend you give the AMPLIFI FX100 at go, but be ready to experience some minor pain getting to work as advertised.

.I'm a drummer turned guitarist. I wanted to start playing with my sound, but the sheer number of choices and the cost of the ubiquitous little brick stomp boxes was not something I wanted to get into. As many others have said, this thing makes playing more fun, and right away.
Here's the thing about this box—I figured the app would be an add-on nice-to-have that I wouldn't use that much. In fact it's very well done, it's fun to use with the box, and it's virtually a necessity to get what you want out of it. Call me skeptical, but the fact that this package delivers on its app-hardware integration synergy claims was the biggest surprise for me.
Aside from being a much more detailed control panel, the app is also an interface between sounds in Line 6's cloud and the hardware. You can search and find a sound, then switch your box to that sound's settings with a tap. If you like the sound, you can save it to your iOS or Android device, to access it faster. And if you really like it, you can use the app to assign it to a hardware button.
The hardware itself is fine. Feels solid enough to gig with, but I've only had it a couple of days. From what I've seen, I wouldn't trust the app/bluetooth in a live setting. But you can use the app to assign your tones exactly in the order you want them on the device, then turn off the bluetooth so you're just using the hardware and onboard firmware.

.I borked my back a few years ago, and hauling around the Mesa Mark IV is just not feasible anymore. Add to that the fact that the thing is about 4x louder than I need it to be to play little venues in Tucson. This little gem, which fit perfectly in a pedal case I had, goes straight to the PA. Most of the effects have both stereo and mono versions (I have been going mono, for the sake of simplicity, but the stereo effects are very nice). Sound quality is very nice. I have only a few settings in right now- clean, distortion, and a lead distortion setting (little more reverb, touch of delay, and a bit more chutzpah to cut through the mix). I have nothing but good things to say about the sounds this unit can put out. Might also be good to mention- this will work for bass as well. Case is steel, triggers are sturdy- for what you pay, you get a really nice unit.

Lotta complaints about the bluetooth from other users- what can I say, Bluetooth is flakey by nature. Sometimes the Iphone will link up, sometimes it wont. If you tweak a setting, then turn off the phone, then change your mind right away, the software gets a little... willful?... and won't always connect quickly. Despite what you may have read, THIS IS NOT A UNIT YOU'RE GONNA WANT TO TWEAK ON THE FLY AT REHEARSAL/GIG. Trust me on this. Tweak it at home, and don't even mess with settings at the rehearsal/gig. Same goes for the tuner in the app. Just use yer good ol trusty tuner pedal- that bluetooth will flake on you, and you won't be able to tune up!

The included tones were ok- not stellar. The tones on the cloud are not usable right out of the box- they were all designed by different users, so they are all at different levels, and most of them are not very good, Just take a day to futtz with the controls and design your own- it's not that hard, and you'll get a more consistent spread across your pedals.

.Works great as a practice tool into my power FRFR rig. I could gig with this. The hardware functions are very simple, the power is in the extremely easy to use AMPLIFi Remote application. Finding, creating and editing patches works great. I found several usable factory presets, and many others in the cloud (though I tweaked to my liking, and for my guitars / FRFR rig). Sounds very good given it is older modeling technology.

.I run the pedal through a 1990's Peavey classic stereo chorus 130. It has changed the sound of that amp to the point that I will keep it. It was for sale. I love the fact that the pre written patches can be tweeted to my liking and then saved with those changes in the same patch. Nice for different types of music I play.
