Ive tried several types of pick over the last few years distilling the properties I enjoy. Ultex provides a bright attack, solid feeling and a great tip. It plays well and feels great. Whatever they do to make Ultex black does seem to affect the tone the pick gives making it a little darker than normal Ultex. I prefer this.
