I bought this flute because I used to play a clarinet back in the day and knew it was a good brand. I wanted a beginner flute that didn't sound cheap and metallic. Ever since I was young I wanted to learn, so I figured why not! The flute is of good quality, it was in tune as received and the keys are in good condition. As for tone, it produces a nice warm tone especially in the lower register (which I love). If you want to learn, I would recommend starting with this one. :)
