The 900 Series Boom Cymbal Stand retains the 900 series tripod base, and incorporates the redesigned toothless cymbal tilter and boom tilter clamp. Thanks to its stability it is makes a great choice for hard-hitting drummers.

Heavy-weight stand as in literally heavy and thick pipes and legs. I had an older one with a weighted boom arm. Unlike other stands, the width of the base is not adjustable, but it spreads out wide enough. The upper section of the legs stay put while the bottom support arm ring slides down to the bottom. It's heavy in weight and not easily shakable. I used mine to set up a 20" China at weird angles. The cymbal tilter is solid and clamps down on the ball very well. I would recommend this to drummers who gig a lot or need a heavily-weighted stand for stage/studio/church use.
