This PRS Private Stock Graphite Guitar is a small batch limited run based on an experimental guitar PRS built a few years back. First off, it has no truss rod. Instead the neck is reinforced by 0.5" x 0.5" high-modules graphite rods. This means you have one of the most stable necks possible, and it will never need to be adjusted. Once you get past that radical idea, you probably notice the Sage Smoke Burst finish. And if you take a look at the back, the electronic coverplate is also flame maple finished in Sage Smoke Burst. A very cool touch. Electronically, this is the Paul's Guitar we all know. Outfitted with two narrow 408 pickups and independent coil tapping switches, the Paul's Guitar is one of the most unique in the PRS lineup. It is extremely present and cuts through a band mix better than most guitars. But it does it with a musical tone and force, not sheer volume. The Pattern neck is as comfortable as you'd expect and the locking tuners and stoptail bridge with it's brass saddle inserts keep this guitar in tune and rock stable.
