Really Nice Instrument. My First Godin. 5 position switch gives a variety of sounds and volume level. Neck PU alone is somewhat dark, but other four positions are just terrific. Well set up, smooth frets with easy, close action on all maple neck. No fret buzz or fret outs at upper registers. Tremelo/Vibrato bar is nice, seems to stay in tune well. Bridge PU reminiscent of a SD 1/4r lb.er, in appearance and sound ...good bite and pinch harmonics. Jangly sounds in different PU combinations. Position 4 is loud, (series setting) nice for leads as opposed to bridge alone. Tele like, but different enough too. Sunburst (Tobacco-ish) Finish is nice, and smooth if not awe inspiring; NBD. Cut out for fitting against your body, so good ergonomics. Now for the good stuff: The Fishman Triple Play system..ahem...da.. da da da! Downloaded SampleTank (Free App) on my ancient iPad and voila! Piano, Cello, Bass, Horns, Synth...on and on. Free programs are included aren't totally necessary, but are a nice thing. Volume and tone for regular corded Guitar out, wireless for FTP. Adapter +USB "fob" into iPad and works instantly (headphone jack out to PA or acoustic amp). Volume for TriplePlay System means you can blend or roll in or out either output. Slight delay, but in mono mode (especially) tracking is fast. Using acoustic guitar setting is cool. Sounds are convincing and realistic. Plenty of available programs out there to use. I'm barely scratching the surface and am intrigued and impressed...my other guitars might be collecting more dust, or be up for sale soon...Overall a leap into a whole new world. To sum up..I Like It! ; )
