Mid 80's MIJ Squier Contemporary Strat done up 50's hot-rod style. As it happens, this version is the "50's" reissue variant with a one-piece maple neck, skunk stripe, and single-ply pickguard. The finish has been de-glossed and custom striping has been applied (thanks Teddy!). The guitar has been further upgraded with DiMarzio noiseless pickups in all 3 positions. These Strats featured a flatter fingerboard radius and smaller vintage-style frets. The Schaller-made System I trem system is a single-locking affair (no need to cut off ball-ends) and works well for moderate whammy excursions. You will find very little fret or fingerboard wear, and all spots where finish appears (broken) are smooth to the touch. Minor plating wear on a couple rollers on the bridge but it works very well overall. Ships in a molded Fender hard case. Thanks for looking!
