Product Description

The Breedlove Atlas Series Stage D25/SR pairs a solid Sitka Spruce top with a solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, appointed with abalone purfling and inlays. It includes an LR Baggs Stage Pro Element electronics system.

The Stage models are the top of the line in Breedlove's Atlas Series of solid wood guitars. This D25/SR has the Sunburst finish, very hard to find in the Stage model. The abalone inlays and the Sunburst finish make this guitar really stand out. Unplugged, it has a very deep and warm tone. Plugged in, the LR Baggs system produces a natural acoustic sound unlike the artificial electronic tone produced by many acoustic/electrics.

This D25/SR has been designated B-Stock. After careful examination, I can find no signs of damage or repair. It does have two hairline cracks where the fretboard meets the soundhole. They appear to be on the surface only and don't seem to effect the structural integrity of the guitar, but this could be the reason for the B-Stock designation. I've owned this guitar over a year and played it extensively. These fine cracks have shown no sign of changing or worsening in that time. There are light scratches on the pickguard, the adjacent area of the body, and the lower bout, all visible only in certain light and certain angles. There is a small ding in the lower bout, but I've stained the spot, and it's much less noticeable. This is a very high gloss finish, so imperfections that appear in the photos are just glare and reflections. Other than the areas mentioned, the guitar has no issues. It plays great, sounds great, has all electronics in good working order. It has a new GraphTech NuBone saddle, and includes a Breedlove gig bag.
