This guitar is simply amazing. A lot of guitar for the money, honestly. It's well built, the pups are Burns and they are pretty good. They make you sound like the man himself. The neck feels really nice and its super fast and easy to play. Feels very light, and its comfortable despite its unique look. Last but not least, this BMG is incredible versatile. It will sound like humbuckers, or like a strat or like a tele. Incredible amount of pickup combinations available. Regarding tone and looks, this is the closest replica. And the cheapest also, which makes this guitar a must have.
I bought this around 2011 and since then, it has been well taken care of. Has very light wear on the body from normal use, but the fret has zero wear. Also, the pickguard/electronics blacktop still have the plastic cover. It comes with an updated original BM tremolo bar, since the stock one didn't stay in place. I forgot to include the term arm in the pictures, but will change as soon as I can. Comes with the original gig bag. Finally, I attached a video of somebody playing the guitar without playing Queen. Of course it nails Brian May sounds, but it can do much more as well. Check out the video, it may help. Thank you!

Inspired by Brian May's legendary Red Special, an instrument that has achieved iconic status and its own unique place in rock history, The BMG Special is a stunning guitar, blessed with superb build quality, awesome playability and an astonishingly rich diversity of killer tones.
In fact it delivers everything you'd expect from an instrument built to the exacting standards of one of the world's greatest musicians but, in keeping with Brian's vision of a "guitar for the people", with an amazingly affordable price-tag that belies its superior appointments and performance.
Without question one of the most eagerly anticipated instruments of the century, the original House Music helmed, Burns branded Brian May Signature was unleashed in the winter of 2001 to rapturous critical and public acclaim. UK "Guitar Bible", Guitarist Magazine hailed it as "Best Guitar Of The Year" and theatre audiences around the globe thrilled to the guitar's sound in performance in the hit Queen musical "We Will Rock You".
But the story certainly didn't end there.
Teaming up with Brian and his long-standing guitar technician, Pete Malandrone, House Music established Brian May Guitars in 2004 with the launch of an all-new "Special". With production re-located to one of the world's most respected instrument manufacturing facilities, The BMG Special featured significant improvements in design, specification and construction. Subsequent iterations - released in 2006 and 2012 - have seen further upgrades and refinements to the Special's bridge assembly, pickups, electronics, finishing and colour choices.
Simply put, the world's best artist designed production guitar has consistently got a whole lot better.
The 2015 BMG Special is an immensely versatile, pro-grade instrument designed not just to replicate the unique sound of one of rock 'n' roll's true heroes, but also to provide modern musicians of all musical persuasions with the perfect go-to guitar for any performance environment.
